Uploading images

The add media button isn’t working. I’ve tried it with some fairly small pictures, and a text document, but I’ve gotten the same vague ‘1 file could not be uploaded because an error occurred while uploading’ message.

Hi there,
Are you trying to add your files using the button in the editor itself? Are you using the editor in My Sites or WP-Admin?
This error usually points to a connection issue, so please try clearing your browser cache and unplug your modem/router for a few seconds to refresh the connection. Switching your computer’s wifi off and back on can also help.
Also please check if you’re able to upload the file if you use a different browser.
