Uploading images

  Hello! for several days, I have been unable to upload images to my WordPress site. I am receiving two error codes: ‘HTTP error’ or ‘The response is not a valid JSON response.’

  Online help suggests modifying html code in some key files that control my site. I am not comfortable playing around with this and need a simpler solution. What do you suggest? Thank you!

  Hi there,

  On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com and was created less than a day ago.

  If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

  That said, clearing the browser cache or resetting your modem/router usually fixes this particular error.

  Hello! My site is http://www.abundant-home.com. It uses the WordPress platform but is hosted by GoDaddy. Does that mean I should be using the other help forum to which you referred? All of this is very new to me!

  I have tried the fixes you suggest with no success. Thanks for your advice and any additional help you can provide.
