Uploading Images for Links

  Hello,

  I need more customization for my link images.

  I would like to use an uploaded image from my computer as opposed to an image located on the internet for my links. When you create a new link and you add the image to it, it asks you for the image address. There is no option to upload an image. When I pull an image from it’s internet address it comes in too big and, at times, distorted.

  I know there is a plugin for this sort of thing. However, I use wordpress.com and found out this type of blog doesn’t support plugins.

  In short, how am I able to upload images for my links as opposed to using the image’s internet URL?

  You upload the image from your computer to your blog via Media > Add New. Once it’s uploaded, you click Edit and copy the image URL from the File URL field of the Save module: that’s the address you need.
