uploading images to the media library on my Samsung Galaxy tab S2.

    Following the laptop procedure for uploading photographs from a device to the media library using the mobile version runs into a snag. When pressing ‘Select’ the mobile device ceases. I have to use my laptop to transfer images to the media library. Once these are there, the tablet can be used to do anything else, such as editing or uploading the image into a post.
    Is there a setting that I am missing?
