Uploading images via Gravitar

  Any image I try to upload is not showing; all I get is a small compressed monochrome block. The files are not overly large either. I have no problem uploading them in other applications. What is going wrong here?

  Hi @betula54, it sounds like there might be a browser issue, or an issue with the image itself.

  Can you first try another browser to see if that helps? And, if that does not, can you tell us what type of image you’re trying to upload and how large it is? If you can upload it to your site and include a link here that would help, too.

  I just want to get my gravitar back onto my Website Profile so it shows in Comments and Admin bar.

  Hello again – Which device and web browser are you trying to do this from?

  As my colleague suggested, were you able to try doing this from another web browser? If so, did that work?

  Lastly, is this where you are trying to upload your Gravatar image? https://wordpress.com/me

  Thank you for your quick response.
  (Appearance was same on three browsers.)

  Whew! This how I restored Gravitar:

  When I was testing my site’s membership functions with tester names, WP stored a tester name and credentials in my Profile. Just now I discovered this and corrected all the info. Now it is fine :-)
