Uploading media files

  Until recently, I uploaded pdf files to my pages and they displayed correctly. Then something was changes and instead of the file name being displayed, the WordPress page address was displayed instead with all the dashes, etc. Now the contents of the pdf files are not displayed to users, just a blank page. That’s the problem, so what’s the solution please?

  Please give us a direct link to where this is happening so we can take a look at it.

  I also see that you are using one of the oldest themes on WordPressdotcom, Kubrick. I would like to suggest that you consider using a newer theme. As time goes on, retired themes like Kubrick are no longer updated and do not support WordPressdotcom’s newer features.

  Many thanks for advice. Will change the Theme in hope that solves the problem. I had already found a way round problem, but rather fiddly. Thanks for you time.
