  getting error for mp3 file upload

  Trying to upload a recording in mp3 format and I keep getting an error saying it is not an allowed format, even though at the bottom of the screen is clearly says “Allowed formats: ….mp3, m4a.” WTF?!

  Hi mtrbach,

  I think what you are seeing at the bottom is this message.
  You can upload mp3, m4a, wav, ogg audio files and increase your available space with a Space Upgrade.

  More info here http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

  But you are not able to upload certain file types, such as mp3, without this upgrade.
