Uploading MP3 and Video

I haven’t received a reply to my feedback request on this problem. Perhaps I submitted it to the wrong place?
I clicked on Feedback and a window appeared at the top of the screen. I explained my situation and provided a link to this thread for additional information.
Was that the correct procedure?

Yes it certainly is the correct process. When the staff work their way down the priority list to your inquiry they will contact you by email.

I continue to have the problem that my mp3 will show a link within my post/page, but upon clicking the link, the mp3 (which should be 30 minutes or so) is actually only about 30 seconds or so.
Anyone know what’s going on? I’ve tried several times now but am still stuck.

It sounds very much like you haven’t got the whole thing. I had that problem. Play it back from wherever you uploaded it (ie if you put it on Odeo, go to Odeo and play it there to make sure that you’ve uploaded the entire file). Some hosting services have size cutoffs.

guys, I am trying to upload a PODCAST here. It’s an MP3 and it’s not 50MB. Why isn’t it an option in the blog posting template?

If you check out the very first link that Timethief gave, it goes to detailed instructions about hosting MP3s and videos at WordPress.com.
Did you read this part:
with the space upgrade, you can now upload and play mp3 files. You can also upload ogg, wav, m4a, mov, wmv, avi, and mpg files too.
