Uploading MP3’s
-
I have recorded some teachings and I want to upload them onto my site. The problem that I’m having though is that when I convert the file from the recorder from whatever file type it it to WAV and down to MP3 the size is around 50-60 MG’s for an hour teaching.
I can convert the bitrate and make them smaller but the quality goes with it significantly and it still is not an acceptable size.
So my question is: Does anyone know of a way to downsize MP3 files that large without radically reducing the quality? If so, how do I go about doing it?
Thanks!

Most that I’ve read says to use between 64kbps and 32kbps, and set it up for mono. If the program you are using has a low pass filter, engage that as well and set it for about 8kHz. Still, you are going to be looking at 15-30mb per hour.
