  Hi there!
  I was trying to add a music file in the sidebar on my site and it does not accept mp3 files, how would i upload it?

  To upload audio to a WordPress.com site (rather than just linking from somewhere else) would require a paid plan: https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/
