uploading my old web page

    The original site was shut down (by my ISP) due to hacking (in wordpress files) . I was desperate to get it back. I signed up with you hoping you could help. I loved the my web page and it is hosted by sonic.net. Sonic restored my web files from an earlier backup..so all I need is where to start. Please let me know what $99 bought for me. I don’t like creating a new site with all my art when I have one already.

    I see that you purchased a Premium Plan upgrade and then cancelled it. We have processed a full $99 refund. The funds should reach you within ten days.

    In order to use your domain, karrenart.com, on WordPress.com you need a domain mapping upgrade. This is included in our plans. Those plans are outlined at wordpress.com/pricing/

    The most affordable option is our Personal Plan at $35.88 / year. You can add it from that link above.

    Let me know if you need further help with the mapping or setting up your site.

    Thanks so much for the info. And reimbursing the $99. The problem is I have a website (karrenart.com) that I need to upload not a blog. I try to log on to karrenart.com/wp-admin and it brings up an old blog I never used or updated – Karren2013. I don’t know what my logon is anymore as I have tried to update so many times. Can I delete the old logins some way? Also I could not get the Personal Plan as it said the website was used by another?? Can you help? Thanks, Karren

    I’m not certain that I understand your plans for karrenart.com.

    Do you want to build a site on WordPress.com with this domain?

    Do you want to use this domain on another platform?

    Logging in at karrenart.com/wp-admin/ is how you access a self hosted WordPress site. That’s very different from what happens here at WordPress.com. Those differences are outlined here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Once I have a better understanding about your plans I’ll be able to get you pointed in the right direction.
