uploading my own photo for web page
-
I uploaded a photo yesterday. Now it is gone. I don’t know how to do it again or how to save it. Any assistance available?
Also, I hit publish but I don’t see the webpage when I search for my name online.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All media that you uploaded will be found here Dashboard > Media > Media Library
https://NAME_OF_SITE.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php
*Replace NAME_OF_SITE with the actual name of your site in that URL.

Your site is public and is available to everyone with internet access who uses the URL which is https://ronaldbbrooksphd.wordpress.com/
More to the point is the fact that is has yet to be set up and has no published content.
The only themes we can use on WordPress.com hosted blogs are licensed and adapted to run on our multi user software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
Every theme has a detailed theme description page and this one is at https://wordpress.com/themes/publication/ That’s where set up instructions for it are found. The live demo site is at https://publicationdemo.wordpress.com/

It can take weeks for search engines to index your site content. Please read this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/ so you know we have no control over search engines positioning or appearance in the SERPs (search engine page results). To verify blog ownership of a WordPress.com hosted blog with the major search engines you must use this process > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don’t feel panicky about this please.WordPress.com automatically supplies sitemaps for our blogs to search engines – we do nothing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines
To gain search engine attention, I recommend that you start publishing posts (not pages) https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ frequently. That’s because it can take weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL.
