uploading my own theme

    i can not upload my own theme

    hello, a client of mine has bought this http://filologoscr.com/ with your service.
    and ask me to build her website

    i have been using wordpress last 8 years, but always in my own domains and hosting,

    now i need to know how to upload my own theme (as far as i know it is not possible) –

    so in case not being able to upload my own theme, i need to hosted in my own host or translate the domain, so please assist me how i could change the dns of the domain to hosted in my own host or how could i translate the domain to my server.

    That’s right, it’s not allowed to upload themes to wordpress.com. We have more than 200 available, but if you want to use something else, you’d need to go the self-hosted route.

    If you want to point the domain at a different host, that’s no problem, and directions on how to do this are available here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/

    HELLO, thank you very much for your answer, i really would prefer to transfer the domain to my server since it seems so strange (no familiar to me) working with a domain registered on your system.

    I love wordpress and i have been using it last 8 years, but directly in my servers with my domains and themes,

    Besides i have note that working with your dashboard is not possible to install plugins, so it is extremely strange for me working this way.

    so please let me know what should i do to transfer this domain to my server.
