Uploading New Photo to My Blog Profile

A million thanks for any possible solution you can give me.
Since two days ago (it’s now Wednesday, November 16 at 10:28 p.m.) the new photo I tried to upload to my blog’s profile hasn’t yet appeared in the profile. I tried uploading the photo again tonight and it still hasn’t appeared an hour later. As you can see I don’t want to have that white logo with the blue background continuing to appear as my ‘photo’ in my blog’s profile. I clicked ‘confirm’ which I thought was the last step in uploading the photo to no avail. It’s been an hour since I tried again tonight to upload the photo and it still doesn’t appear. I cleared my Internet and Offline cache and deleted some other photos to free up space. As I’m a self-employed business owner I really can’t have a white logo with a blue background appearing where my author photo should be.

The logo you are seeing is the Gravatar logo. Please take a look at this page (https://en.support.wordpress.com/gravatars/#upload-an-avatar) and confirm that you’ve uploaded your photo in the right spot for a Gravatar.
You can also take a look at http://en.gravatar.com and sign in with the same email address that you are using for your WordPress.com account.
