UPLOADING ON MY OWN DOMAIN

  I paid to have my WordPress blog redirected to my own domain (bigezshow.com). However, now I can’t FTP anymore to my own web space on bigezshow.com. Does WordPress do that after they take control of the domain or what?

  And if so, is there a way for me to get around this so I can upload an mp3?

  Now that your blog here is hosted with wordpress.com, there is no FTP access. Keep in mind, that without the space upgrade, you cannot upload mp3 files. The upgrade allows you to do that and you upload all files regardless of the upgrade through the “create post” page in your admin area.

  If you still have webspace somewhere else, you can allows upload your files to that space and then link the file in your wordpress.com blog.

  So let me get this straight…

  I can’t access my own webspace now since WordPress is my blog editor? My webspace is still hosting the blog, correct? WordPress is just my blog editor and creator.

  If you wanted your domain on your webspace (not hosted on wordpress.com) you would have needed to download the software from http://wordpress.org/ and install it on your own webspace. Once you mounted that domain on your wordpress.com blog, it is now the wordpress.com webspace that your blog is on and not your old webspace. What exactly were you trying to do? What is your other webspace?
