uploading original scribbles

I’m trying to upload my original drawings using mac’s scribble program.
I keep getting the security guidelines response.
Is there a better way to draw my own simple sketches and incorporate them into my blog?
    Thanks.

The images have to be jpg, gif or png only. I suspect you will have to save them as one of those file types from within scribble.

And, if they are just color or black and white without photographic elements, my suggestion would be png. It will preserve more of the detail and the lines will look cleaner and sharper.

@emorygillespie: Please provide the URL of your blog when you ask a question here (or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”). We get a lot of wrong visits, so first we need to make sure it’s a wp.COM blog (our answers may not apply to wp.ORG blogs, and they’ve got their own separate forum). Second, we often need to check things in the blog itself to find out what a problem is or which solution will do.

In addition to tsp’s remarks, note also that even if your images are b&w, they have to be in RGB for the wp uploader to handle them well.
