Hi there,
Can you let me know if this is still happening or if the issue is resolved? I was able to successfully upload an image to your Media Library (since deleted). If the issue is still occurring, could you try another browser to make sure this is not a localized issue in the browser?

Sorry to be a pain…but it happened again this morning. The photograph that I’m trying to upload is on 2.3 MB. Not that large. Any thoughts? My blog is a photo blog and the premise is that I post a photo everyday…yesterday and today are the first times that I have had any problems.
Thank you for your help! -
You’re certainly not being a pain! I apologize this came back. A few questions:
- Does switching browsers help the issue? (i.e. is this issue present across all browsers?)
- Can you take a screenshot of the error message and use an image sharing service (or upload it to your Media Library if you don’t receive the message) to send it over? Here are some image sharing services:

You could also sign-up for CloudUp, which is an easy way to share images and videos:
- Do you experience the same issue when you drag and drop an image to upload as opposed to using the file browser method?
I appreciate your help in troubleshooting!

It worked…by George I think that just might have been the problem all along. I have been using Safari, I tried it using Firefox and it worked. You are so smart….thank you! I’ll let you know if this problem crops up again tomorrow. I think we are good. Thank you again

Great! I’m glad this is working on Firefox on your site. Unfortunately, we’ve had reports in Firefox as well so I think the issue is just hit or miss at the moment. Either way, I hope we’ve kicked it for good!

Is there a browser that you would recommend one over the other? I can’t thank you enough for all your help.

Typically, we recommend Google Chrome or Firefox for the best performance with WordPress.com.

Hi!
If you’re still able to produce the error in Safari or another browser you’re using, the following would definitely still help us to identify and fix the error:
- Can you take a screenshot of the error message and use an image sharing service (or upload it to your Media Library if you don’t receive the message) to send it over? Here are some image sharing services:

- Can you let me know the URL of the page where you’re uploading the image? It could read something like either of the following:

Again, I appreciate any help you can offer!
