uploading photos

  I am trying to upload photos to my blog. I go to write, and page. When I click the buttom for add media, the screen turns dark and the bar has a rolling/gray design. Nothing happens. I was referred to the woedpress.org website for this service. I thought the wordpress.com would accommodated photos! If not how much do you have to pay to forthe service of gettingphotos? I am hoping that I am doing something wrong. this can’t be that complicated! I managed to cuistomize my header for the opening page….tho it stillneeds some work..

  I would try and see if there is an update for “flash” on your computer. It seems to be the culprit for several with this type of issue :) WordPress.com is setup for adding photos, but I think it might just be the version of flash you are using.

  if updating cant help then its best to upload it to photobucket

  copy the [img] coding

  There are loads of photo sharing sites, but the original poster was interested in fixing the uploader though.

  yeah there are many such as tinypic,flickr for example.

  just a alternate way for original poster if he cant get it to be working =)

  Hi
  I have the same problem when trying to add a photo, the page turns dark and nothing happens. it used to work normally but now I have this problem. I have not done any changes with flash etc. Any ideas how to get the photos attached?
