Uploading photos

  When uploading photos there are a lot of times that the wheel just turns like it is trying to upload but even after 15-20 min the photo will not upload.

  Hiya,

  I’m sorry you are having problems with the uploader. There are a few things you can do to resolve this issue:

  Force a refresh on your browser:

  Browser Issues

  Clear browser ookies and cache:

  Make sure the URL in the address of your browser contains “wordpress.com/wp-admin”. If this is not part of the URL, the uploader and insert functions will not work properly.

  Update the Flash player:

  http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

  If you’re still having problems, it would be very helpful if you could give us a step by step description of what you did and what you saw – “first I clicked on this button, then on this link, then I saw X when I expected to see Y”. I know that it is tedious, but we can’t see what you see, so we need you to describe it to us as best you can.

  In addition, if this doesn’t work, can you also provide some information about your environment?

  – What is the URL in your browsers address bar when you are on your Dashboard?
  – Are you using Windows, Mac, or Linux? Which version of the OS are you using?
  – What browser (Firefox, IE, Safari, etc.) and version are you using?
