Uploading photos

I have always used the same phone to take and upload photos. Now, it suddenly keeps saying my photos are too large to upload. I tried using my iPad, and using the ‘small’ version of the pictures, and two of them uploaded but the rest of them just spin and never uploads.
WP.com: Yes

I have been taking the pictures on my phone and e-mailing them to myself. I then upload them from my laptop. I use my internet browser on my laptop to open my wordpress blog, and upload them to there from my desktop. I have always done this, so I am not sure why it is suddenly an issue.

I did also try using my iPad to take the pictures and then uploading them to my page using the iPad. The same thing happened. I do not have the app, is that the issue?

Hi there,
The problem here is that you’re out of storage space on your site. Each WordPress.com site comes with 3GB of free storage for media files, and you’ve used all of your 3GB.
In order to upload new images you have two options:
1) Delete older images from the library. Note that doing this will also cause the images to disappear from any posts where they’ve been used. And you’ll likely need to delete a LOT of images to free up a meaningful-enough amount of storage so you can upload new images again for a while.
2) Upgrade to a paid plan. Our Personal Plan adds 3GB additional storage, the Premium Plan 10GB, and the Business Plan expands the available storage to 200GB.
Let me know if you have any questions about this.
