Uploading photos

  My photos show up in my drafts but once I try to publish them onto my website they don’t show up anymore. How can I fix this?

  Hi there,

  Can you share the URL or title of a post on your site where the images you added don’t appear? Do you still see the images in the editor if you edit the post after you’ve published it?

  Are you uploading photos from your computer using a web browser, or from your phone using one of the WordPress mobile apps?

  This one has a photo that shows up in published and used to show up on my website but doesn’t anymore.

  Yes I still see the photo when I try to edit it in editor. I’m uploading photos from my iPhone using the app.

  Thanks for the link.

  I can see the photo at the top of that post without any problems. So if it’s not loading for you, it points to the problem being in your browser.

  Is the image missing when you view the site in Safari on your phone? What about if you view your site on a computer?

  Please see if restarting your phone helps, and also see if it loads if you use a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox.

  For sure

  Yes the image is missing when I view it on my phone in safari and chrome. Turned my phone off and on as well and it didn’t fix it.

  When I get on my laptop on chrome the pictures show up.

  Hi there,

  To clarify, the issue on your phone, is it happening when you are viewing the site from your home wifi or when connected to cellular data (5G, LTE, etc) in this case.

  What if you switch? For example if images don’t load on your phone when using a wifi connection, do they show if if you use a cellular connection instead?

  Given that the images show up on your computer this sounds like it could either be a network or device issue with your phone. If you restart your device does it help at all?
