UPloading photos fails every time :(

  I upgraded to Premium on 3/3 and everything was working smoothly until yesterday when every photo I try to load fails. They are coming from iphone and camera in exactly the same format as in the past. Help!

  Hi there!

  The Premium upgrade and the uploads to your Media Library aren’t connected…however, let’s get to the bottom of the situation, so you can get those images online.

  It appears as if you’re using Google Chrome on a PC. Could you please clear your browser’s cache, using the instructions below, and try the upload again?

  Solve Common Browser Issues

  If that doesn’t solve the issue, please do a test for me:

  Log into your account on the Firefox browser, and try that action once again. Let me know the results!

  While I was waiting I deleted some photos and then uploaded some more successfully. Just cleared browser’s cache in Chrome and uploaded another photo successfully but do not have a large number to upload so will not fully test for a few days.

  On the subject of deleting photos. If I included one in a post can I delete the photo from the media collection and still have the post intact?

  No. The post will appear to have a broken image if the image doesn’t exist in your Media Library any longer. The image MUST exist in the library, if you want it to stay in your posts/pages.

  Oh No! May be unrelated but WP seems to be stuck while I am uploading three photos. Tried to cancel but can’t figure out how and now I can’t save the post or do anything else. How do I get out of this without losing recent typing (I I do save fairly frequently but would like to try to avoid losing the last part that included a few links etc I had to research!)

  Hi there!

  I suspect I’m too late to be very helpful with the uploading issue you’re having, but let me know where things stand.

  I always recommend saving drafts of your posts and pages so you can revert to those, should any technical issues arise.

  Also, I use this extension, which is a huge help when it comes to content recovery:
