uploading photos to my pages

When I go to Manage Uploads, all my photos are there. If I click on the view link above the photo, I see it on my page. But when I go to the page itself on my site it is blank. What is happening with this?

OK… it might be a dumb question.
But did you actually put the photos into the page? Because looking at the page source, I don’t see any image tags outside of what are in the wordpress template.

Yes. I’ve just tried something else that I read in another post. I deleted the other page and I uploaded my photo to my blog and tagged it so that it could be accessed that way. The same thing happened.

All my photos just turn up blank. I’ve been working on this for 3 days now. I’m getting really discouraged.

“Tagged it”? I don’t know what you mean; we don’t use tags on photos. How did you do that?

What is borked?
I deleted all the pages and started over many times before I found the following solution.
Finally, another blogger emailed me with advice to have my images hosted elsewhere, like imagecave, and then upload them from there. That is what I did and it worked very well. My images are on my page.
