Uploading Pictures

  How come uploading pictures and then sizing them in the post is so complicated?? I pretty much have to mess with them and fix them the exact size I want before I upload them. Then, if I do want to adjust the size, to change it by dragging with a mouse gets the proportions all off. Is there an easy way to do this that I’m just missing?? I’m trying to use wordpress.com instead of blogger but this is my biggest issue. Any suggestions??

  If you use a corner handle to resize, then it will resize proportionally, or it always has for me. If it doesn’t, then hold down the shift key while dragging a corner handle.
