Uploading pictures

    Hello,

    I have been using wordpress for years but I have never ever had a problem with uploading my pictures before. I fell really behind with some of my blog posts that I would like to write about the summer time. I am serving God as missionary in Romania and having a blog is really very helpful for my family, friends and supporters to see what I am doing in Romania. I would like to have pictures for my blog posts because I know people like to look at pictures so I do not know what is going on and why I cannot upload my pictures right now on my blog.

    I would really appreciate anyone’s help they can give and as soon as possible. By the way, I am not an IT person at all but I have always liked using wordpress for my personal blog and I have no idea why I cannot upload my pictures right now. Please help me with any advice that you can.

    Here are some more details:
    Yesterday when I tried to upload a picture in the media library or directly in my blog post (by adding a new picture with a jpg photo). The issue is regarding the async-upload.php. I am from Canada but I live in Romania. I have been living here since 2007 and I never had a problem before with uploading images/ pictures to my wordpress blog. When I tried to upload any pictures to my media library with the internet connection from Romania because I’m living here it fails and I also asked a friend of mine to try from my blog too from another location in Romania but it also failed and it also causes a 502 failure response. The photo does not upload to Media Library. When my friend connected to the Media Library via VPN to a Canadian server, and uploaded a photo to the Media Library it returns a 200 success response. The photo uploads perfectly.
    Okay, this is what happened however but when I tried today and the picture uploaded just fine so I do not know what went on yesterday. It was very strange but I’m so glad that it works now and I hope I will not have any problems in the future with it again.

    Hi @romaniangirl98 — so you had 502 errors, and your friend got the same error from another location but not when VPNd into Canada. And then the error resolved? Let me know if I’ve understood this properly.

    My guess is that there was some kind of blip there which was resolved. Let me know if you’re still having trouble.

    Yes, you have understood it well of what I wrote. I am very thankful though that whatever the problem was it is okay now and my pictures are uploading just fine on my blog!
