Uploading pictures

I am trying to upload pictures but it says now error.
I have been uploading pictures before and nothing has changed. Same format, same amount. -

Can you double check first if your image files are properly formatted?
If they are, it might be a problem within your browser, such as a cache issue. It’s worth having a look at those Browser Issues here and see if the uploading starts working again.If the issue hasn’t been resolved then, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance.

Hi, thank you so much for your reply. I have now discovered that I can upload pictures on a different blog (colleague’s blog) so the issue is my blog on it’s own. Maybe my media library is full?
Any tips on how to delete images on there? -
We have one wordpress account with three blogs attached to it.
Can you advise us how to add the mod tag you referred to please? -
Hi there,
Here you can see how to delete images from your Media Library: https://en.support.wordpress.com/media/deleting-files/. Be aware, though, that if you delete them, they won’t appear on your posts anymore, if you have used them on your website.
I have added the mod tag as you asked. If you have any other questions in the meantime the Staff gets back to you, please ask :)

Which blog are you having this problem? I found that one of them is at the space storage limit and you will not be able to add new media. I suggest you follow the steps @stefaniamattana posted.

it was the nursery blog that we had trouble with. If I delete one of the other blogs, will that free up more space and if I delete various images as instructed, that too will free up space?
Also, if I upgraded my blog to the $99 blog would that mean each individual blog I have registered to my account will receive the extra media memory or just one?

ginenemi, each blog has its own storage space. You still have space on your other blogs, only one you don’t. The Premium plan is for one blog, if you buy the plan for that blog at the storage limit you will have more 10Gb of space. You can check more information about the Premium plan on the link below:
