Uploading Pictures …

  I have trouble deciding if I should upload my pictures on wordpress or free picture hosters like imageshack ?
  The thing is that, I need to pay to upload to wordpress because I would need to purchase space upgrades, but for imageshack it’s free soo..
  Which do you think is better ? I’m just asking for opinions . Hahha, sorry this is a really dumbb question, but I have trouble deciding.

  well You have 3GB’s of space on wordpress that is free before your required to buy the space up grade.

  Me personally I use imageshack to host my images. I really think it’s a better option in the long run.

  Your free 3GB of space are enough for thousands of photos – provided you don’t waste space by uploading unnecessarily large files: you should edit copies of your photos to a resolution of 72 and a width that fits the theme you’re using, and upload those copies.

  Also, inserting photos hosted elsewhere affects loading time.

  If you’re going to use Monotone or Duotone, you’ll have to upload them here if you want the colour features to work.
