uploading pictures & creating a slideshow on a page & sub-pages

  Dear Sirs, I’m using the theme Dark Woods. Up to now, I was able to insert pictures and I had been able to use the Gallery and slideshow settings.

  However, I am now unable to do so. I converted some posts that were in “categories” and placed them under “pages” instead and sub-pages were also created. I wanted to insert a slideshow on a post which went missing, but was unsuccessful.

  I also tried the same on a post for a category instead and yielded the same result. Please help!

  Galleries and Slideshows pull from images that are uploaded specifically through the post in question. If you’ve changed the post, then these are no longer attached and will need to be re-uploaded.

  Hi Macmanx, thank you for the prompt reply.

  I did re-upload it from the Media Library since the photos were previously uploaded. When I inserted the photos again into the post, I could not see the gallery icon.

  I even did a new post to test and yet I still could not see any gallery icon.

  Hi Macmanx, I tried re-loading from my computer again, instead of the media library and I found the gallery icon.
