Uploading pictures from Ipad Air2
-
Hello
I just purchased Ipad Air 2. Soon we’ll be moving overseas with no access to a desktop or Widows based PC. I can do almost everything to post to my WP blog on the WP app with one exception.
I’m trying to get my pictures into the media library with a maximum pixel size of about 800 to 850 which works well for my theme as well as keeping my available space down. On my desktop I simply save everything to Picaasa and export in lower resolution to a folder on my PC before importing into the media library.
I installed Picassa’s app for WebAlbums to get around this and it has an option to import pics from Ipad’s photo albums to 800 px which I use. However, when trying to upload the pics from Ipad Air2 to the media library on the WP app, it only allows options for folders located on the Ipad’s own photo library so they wind up going in at 2048 X 1536. I’d rather not spend time editing individual pic sizes one ant a time when I’m posting a large number of photos and I don’t see a way to use Picassa’s app to get my pics into the WP media library.
Does anyone have any ideas, thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks so much to everyone

Let me ask this another way now that I played with it. How much more space am I wasting by importing pics from an Ipad at 2048 X 1536 when I usually lower the pixels to 800 or 850?
Will it make a big difference? I don’t post thousands of pics but don’t wanna have to upgrade to premium a few months after arriving in my new expat home since I plan on posting with pics almost every day
Thanks
