Uploading plugins not available

  I was looking to install the ‘All In One WP Security & Firewall’ plugin, but from the plugin page on my WP, there is no obvious way to upload it, and it actually says that uploading your own plugins is not available. Is this the same for others? I am looking to secure my WP, and not sure whether the pre-installed plugins are sufficient.

  You can’t use/add/install plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons:
