uploading problem

  I created a WordPress website in localhost and converted it into a zip file after that I created an account on wordpress.com and try to import my localhost website on wordpress.com but show error on wordpress.com like this

  Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format

  Correct account: Yes

  Howdy,

  When you say that you converted it to a zip file, what instructions did you use for doing so? Did you export as described here:

  …or did you just compress all the files/folders up into a zip file?
