uploading saved files

  I downloaded my custom files before closing this site down. How do I upload them and activate this site?

  WP.com: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I have found instructions for uploading using various plug-ins, but I don’t know what I used to download the files in the first place (in 2015).

  I have a public_html folder with mostly .php files. I had a designer create the site and I downloaded everything before I shut it down. I’d like to just get the blog back up at least, but I am not sure how to begin.

  Ah ok, we do not have a way to import WordPress files like that.

  You would either need the WordPress export file, or for the original site to still be online: https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

  It’s found at Tools > Export in the WordPress site’s Dashboard.

  I have been able to reactivate the site and login as an admin. I’ve used the .xml file instructions to import with the WordPress importer, and it’s working but when I try to import my blog I get

  Failed to import “”: Invalid post type nf_sub

  From what I can figure out this has to do with the plugin I used, Yumprint, no longer being available or installed. Is there any way around this?
