Uploading Site

  I have developed my site on Local Wp and have exported a zipped file of my website. What is the process of uploading this to my domain? I currently do not have a wordpress site in the domain, so how would i upload the wordpress i have created?

  Do i have to install wordpress on the server, and do i need to buy a package?

  i’m new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

  It all depends on where you’ll be hosting your site. If you’ll be hosting your site here at WordPress.com, we have guides here that will walk you through how to properly import your site content:

  To use your own domain, you would need one of our paid plans. If you also developed your own theme, you would need to upgrade to the Business or eCommerce plans which allows you to upload third party themes or plugins. You can review each plan option here:

  If you’ll be hosting the site somewhere other than WordPress.com, you would need to reach out to that hosting provider’s support for details on how to import your site.
