  why is it asking I need a business plan to upload theme I purchased?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there, WordPressdotcom users have access to both free and Premium themes in our Theme Showcase https://wordpress.com/themes/ More about themes here:

  If you wish to upload a custom theme that is not available in our theme showcase, a Business plan upgrade is necessary. https://en.support.wordpress.com/business-plan/

  WordPress.com account comes with different levels of paid upgrades: Free, Personal, Premium and Business. Every plan get incremental benefits/added features.

  You can learn more about plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Business plan allows users to upload themes and plugins, other plans can use the themes and functionality available with their account.

  There are about 300 themes available for everyone to use on WordPress.com, some of them are free and some paid. If you purchase a theme at WordPress.com you can use it here with your account even if it is not in Business Plan.

  If you need to upload custom theme purchased elsewhere then you need to be in WordPress.com Business Plan.

  WordPress.com has over 340 themes available in its theme directory.

  You can sort themes by clicking the links for Trending, Popular, and Newest at the top of the page, and you can filter those results for Free or Premium.

  Additional filters are available in the Theme Showcase for popular types of themes such as photography, food, music, portfolio, business, and more. You can also filter by feature, such as Custom Header or Post Slider, or by layout, color, or price.
