Uploading themes– can you do it with Premium?

  I’ve got multiple questions related to upgrading to Premium or not.

  So I got this awesome free theme called Zerif I wanted to try out, but I discovered you can’t upload themes to a wordpress.com account. If I upgrade to a Premium (NOT business) account would I be able to upload it? Or do I have to build the site myself using wordpress.org and find another website for hosting? Going elsewhere seems a lot cheaper than Premium (3$/month instead of 100$/year), but if I go someplace else for hosting do I lose the wordpress dashboard/community I’m a part of? I love being connected to my fellow authors on here.

  Hi Bradley, as galois mentioned, it’s not possible to upload third-party themes on WordPress.com. Have you looked through our 300+ theme collection to see if you can find something you might like?
