Uploading Videos

I just transfered from blogger.com and on there I was able to upload videos to my posts by HTML Embeding..
I paste the code and it doesnt seem to be showing the video on my post…
Is there a differnt method used for wordpress?

Embedding videos here is a little different since wordpress does not allow flash directly. This FAQ explains how to do videos. There are several video services that are directly supported through “shortcodes” and for those that are not supported directly, there is the vodpod button for wordpress which allows virtually all videos from video services to be displayed on your blog.

To be able to upload videos you have made here on wordpress and then display and play them on your blog, you would need to purchase the space upgrade which in addition to giving you more storage space, allows a bunch more file types to be uploaded including video and audio files.
