uploading videos

Hello! I am a junior in high school and I’m running my blog for my AP English class. I want to be able to upload videos to my blog; is there a way I can add only this feature?
It looks like I can get this if I buy premium, and if this is the only way to get the feature, is there a way buy it only until the remainder of the school year? I want to use this for college applications and I have lots of ideas and I don’t want this to hold me back.

While Premium and the Business plan are the only options for you to upload videos to your WordPress.com hosted site, you can also upload your videos to several other platforms e.g. Youtube or Vimeo and then embed those videos in your WordPress.com hosted site here.
