Uploading without javascript

  Is it possible please to upload a file without javascript turned on. My browser does not support it by deliberate choice.

  What kind of a file? A text file?

  Since we do not have ftp access, your only other option would be to host the files elsewhere (where ftpwas available) and then hot link to them. This would not work for a custom header image though as it must be uploaded to wordpress.com.

  Thanks, it’s a PDF document. I guess ftp or javascript are only options for me!

  Have you considered simply enabling javascript on your browser long enough to upload the pdf file in the same manner we upload images and then disabling it again?

  surely (I’ve just checked), uploading can be done without JS and all the more without an external hosting.

  the only tricky part w/o JS is, you won’t see the “Send to Editor” button — gotta copy uploaded (onto wp.com) image URL from ‘Upload’ internal frame* and paste it into Editor’s one.
