Uploads deleted spontaneously

    sooooo i just logged on and saw that there we a bunch of pending spam comments even though i recently installed an anti-spam plugin and when i checked in plugins it wasn’t there so i re-installed it without giving it much thought. Then i checked one of the pages i was making and i found that it reverted to an older version of it so when i went to browse the revisions, it only showed me revisions from march 2018 even though i made edits and saved them in april and may 2018 (it showed 18 revisions when there’s was actually supposed to be around 30). Then when i tried to put a picture on the page that i had previously uploaded from before it wasnt in my uploads; it seems like everything from the end of march up to may had been deleted and idk why. pls help idk whats going on

    This account was just created. It sounds like this account wouldn’t be able to be the one to control a WordPress.com hosted site that would have that happen. What site are you trying to get help for? That’s missing from your topic.

    Note that this is WordPress.com hosting support, and not support for the WordPress software.

    @vishgupt55 if you’ll send a link to your site, we can confirm for you whether you’re hosting here (in which case we can take a look) or whether you’re hosting elsewhere (in which case you’ll want to use these forums instead: https://wordpress.org/support )

    update: i used the widget contact forms and i made a form from before (april/may time period; everything april/may seems to have disappeared) and today it when i checked there was no form…
