upon login, getting REDIRECT…

  Hi wordpress staff –

  When I try to login on my blogs (after the wp-login.php?) I’m getting this –

  redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2F%2F(my blog address)%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php

  I would like to know why I’m getting this message and how i can get rid of it. Please help, thanks.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  @psychonappy – If it’s yourusername.wordpress.com then please contact Support directly. I just tried to visit your blog and had to kill my browser.

  Don’t know if it’s connected to your problem, but regardless it’s nothing we forum volunteers can resolve for you.

  Let’s just say it’s bad news. Contact staff via that link. They have to fix this.

  How can I contact them, if I don’t know what problem is seen from your end. Can you explain in detail what you are seeing?

  If you cannot reach them that way then use this email address which I munged so email garvesting spam bots won’t harvest it support[a]wordpress[dot]com

  @psychonappy Sorry for the late reply. Regardless of whatever problem I had on my end while visiting your blog, you still need to contact Support about your log-in redirect problem, because they are the only ones who can fix it.

  As far as my encounter with your blog (if that is the blog you are having the problem with) there is something there that froze my browser (FF 3.6.8) to the point where it locked up my computer. I had to shut FF down by force (Ctrl+Alt+Del) and restart my computer to recover.

  Hope you get your log-in problem resolved soon!

  Into the URL decorder:
  http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/

  you will get:

  redirect_to=http:///(my blog address)/wp-admin/index.php

  I’m pretty sure what you’re seeing is a standard WordPress.com redirect behavior. If you’re logged in and you try to access a specific page in your dashboard, WordPress.com redirects you there.
