Uprade to Personal Plan and scripts

    Hello,
    I would like to know whether I can implement HTML codes and scripts like the ones from Info.gram or personalized embeds from Soundcloud’s in a blog using the “Personal Plan”.

    Currently, I have my blog on a free WordPress.com account. The thing is that I’m thinking in buying the Personal Plan. The main reason is to be available to use infographics, something I cannot do now. For example, in this post I had to use an image capture instead of the infographic that I had created with Info.gram.

    Thanks for posting your query here.

    The security of all WordPress.com blogs is a top priority for us, and until we can guarantee scripting languages will not be harmful, they will not be permitted.

    However, you can use Embed URL. I checked the example infogram and used its share URL in my page. WordPress.com and Jetpack enables embedding of external services due to this the infogram is rendering perfectly fine which you can check on my blog page here

    Maybe I’ll consider purchasing the Personal Plan in that case. Anyway, there’s no posibility in using info.gram on a free blog, isn’t it?

    Question 2: with Personal Plan would I be available to upload themes that I have in a .rar file?

    Hey, may be I was not clear enough in my previous reply. You can use info.gram even with free plan. I took following steps:

    1) Went to example info.gram https://infogr.am/vic_newspoll_primary
    2) Clicked on “Share” button at the bottom.
    3) It gave me popup like you see here
    4) Then I copied the link as shown in above screenshot & used it in my post which you can see here: https://saynshare.wordpress.com/infogr-am-demo-page/

    So what I see is you need not upgrade to personal plan for info.gram. However if you are looking for any other features which are not there in “Free” plan and you see them in “Personal” plan then do go for it :)
