While doing the sign up my email which is (email visible only to moderators and staff) was incorrectly put as (email visible only to moderators and staff). Even though I have emailed the person I haven’t received a revert. What do I do since I want to upgrade to premium as well but don’t have email access.

When you log in to your WP Admin Dashboard here: http://indianwanderwoman.wordpress.com/wp-admin, do you get this prompt http://d.pr/i/hqOZ? If so, then you should be able to correct your address by clicking Send to another email address.
You can also change your email address in your Account Settings, or in your Personal Settings under Users → Personal Settings in your dashboard.
