  I had a website that was built through WordPress and hosted with a domain through namecheap.

  Due to a family emergency it lapsed for a long time (about a year) is there anyway to still access my site that was built for me and rehost it? Namecheap said there’s no backup for it so they couldn’t help me.

  We can’t help you as wordpress.com is in no way related to sites hosted at another provider. If you didn’t make a proper backup, I’m afraid the content of your site is lost forever.
