[URGENT] could not log in wp-admin

  Hi there,

  I mistakenly update the wordpress link & URL link of my current website diemdayofficial.com into trandiem.com without getting transfer link I guess.

  How should I retrieve this?

  Hi Tran,

  It sounds like you updated your site URL without properly redirecting or transferring the domain, which is why you can’t access wp-admin.

  Here’s what you can try:

  1. Access your website files via FTP or hosting control panel.
  2. Open the wp-config.php file and add these two lines to temporarily override the site URL: phpCopyEditdefine('WP_HOME','https://diemdayofficial.com'); define('WP_SITEURL','https://diemdayofficial.com');
  3. Clear your browser cache and try logging in again via https://diemdayofficial.com/wp-admin
  4. If that works, go to Settings > General in the dashboard and update the URLs properly.
  5. Also, check your database wp_options table for siteurl and home entries and make sure they’re correct.

  If you can’t access FTP or your host’s control panel, contact your hosting provider for help restoring access or reverting changes.
