URGENT! Domain transfer declined!

What the hell? I am transferring my domain to 1&1 and I just got this email that said:
The current registrar, WordPress.com, for the domain alexatilbrook.com rejected the transfer request you submitted because of Initial 60 Days after icann trade.
Pursuant to established registry procedures the transfer is declined.
Thank you for your attention
The domain expires in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS. I need to transfer this NOW!

1&1 sent me this on their end:
The domain transfer initiated on 01/31/2018 for the domain alexatilbrook.com was unsuccessful for the following reason:
The losing registrar, Automattic Inc., has asked the registrant contact (REG-C) and administrative contact (ADMIN-C) to either approve or deny the domain transfer.
Unfortunately, the transfer was rejected from the original registrar, Automattic Inc..
Get with it, WordPress. Unlock my domain. Approve my transfer.

I need a staff to look at this now. Other “support forums” would help me out immediately. Oh, I read your help documents. I am not dumb. I opted out of the 60-day transfer lock (because I realized I forgot that minor oversight), only to have it LOCKED for transfer!
You’re really pissing me off. I have been using computers before most of you even heard of one, on a TRS-80. When I was 4. (Not a lie by any bit.) But today’s software is so idiot-protected to where the brightest of us can’t get something so simple done.
I need this done and NOW. I just pissed away my money to another registrar for your incompetence.

It looks like your domain expires 11th March 2018. The 60 day lock most usually applies to newly registered domains or if you have perhaps recently changed some details. To alert WordPress.com staff promptly, the modlook tag needs adding to the tag box on the right. Thanks. I didn’t know about that tag. But it’s upsetting when you can’t get it right, no matter how much you rtfm.

I decided just to register a new but similar domain and move over to self-hosted WordPress with 1&1. I’ve already exported my posts and such over and everything is doing well on my new host.
I’m now at https://alexatilbrook.org.
This issue, for the sake of it, I’d say this topic is resolved.
