Urgent help needed – confirmation emails not being received

    Today I noticed that my customers are not receiving order confirmation emails.

    I’ve been running my website for over a year without issue and I haven’t changed any of the relevant settings.

    I’m using WooCommerce. Customers place their orders and usually emails are sent from info@mydomain. I get an email stating an order has been received and the customer gets an email too.

    Right now I’m getting an email; however, the customer is not.

    I use the WP Mail Logging plugin and it shows the emails are being sent but they’re not being received. I’ve tested with several different email addresses. I’ve checked the WooCommerce email settings and they should be going out.

    I can manually send customers emails separately and that works fine so I can’t understand what’s going wrong.

    Anyone know how to fix this? This is my busiest time of year and I’m in a world of pain here!

    It’s good that you’ve confirmed the emails are being sent through the WP Mail Logging plugin! Since the logging shows the emails are going out, but customers aren’t receiving them, this suggests the issue may be on the recipient side – likely related to spam filtering or deliverability.

    First, check your spam folder and ask customers to check theirs as well. The sudden change in delivery could mean that something has triggered spam filters. You may also want to check if your domain’s SPF and DKIM records are properly configured, as these help ensure emails aren’t marked as spam.

    If the issue persists, you might want to consider using an SMTP plugin with a dedicated email service provider like SendGrid or Mailgun. This can significantly improve email deliverability. The support team can help point you to resources for setting this up if needed.

    It looks like your site is currently hosted with GoDaddy so you’d need to approach them for support, as it could be an issue with their systems.
