URGENT HELP NEEDED SHUT DOWN SITE

I need to know how I can shut down my football website permanently and therefore remove my wordpress account (so I cannot be charged again automatically each year for a site that has been shut down)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No one is automatically charged for anything. In order to be charged for any WordPress.COM service you have to provide the required information to have something charged to your credit card or to a PayPal account.
Note that you can disable auto-renew Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades > Disable auto-renewWhat is the URL of the underlying .wordpress.com blog please? I tagged Staff so they assist your with removing the domain mapping.

That’s the domain URL. I have that. What is the underlying wordpress.com blog URL that your are domain from to that domain URL? Is it http://football247now.wordpress.com?

Yes it should be but it says that is no longer available and that the authors have taken that down…

Canceling a domain after 2 days of purchase means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.
You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:
