URGENT – I NEED TO BE ABLE TO RE-MAP AN OLD DOMAIN.

  I sent the following e-mail on Wednesday morning, and have not heard anything yet (it is now Friday afternoon):

  Hi. I accidentally deleted my blog. My blog was found at rel8consulting.wordpress.com, but I had a domain that I own through a different service (not wordpress) mapped to this blog. The domain name is rel8consulting.com.
  I would like to use rel8consulting.com for my new blog. Can you help me with this? Do you need to delete rel8consulting.wordpress.com so that I can do it. When I try to use domain mapping for rel8consulting.com with a new blog, it tells me it is already mapped to a blog, but it is the blog I accidentally deleted. Please help! I was using this blog for business, and I need to get it back up as soon as possible.

  I have already changed the DNS of rel8consulting.com away from wordpress, to its default settings.

  Yes. Are you from wordpress staff? I would like to map it to rel8counseling.wordpress.com. I changed the DNS back to default settings. Do I need to change it back to wordpress? Thanks for your help.

  The rel8counseling.wordpress.com blog was deleted, but you could map a domain to a different WordPress.com blog. Is there a different blog you’d like to use or can you create one at http://en.wordpress.com/signup/

  As stated in my previous e-mail, I already have a different blog to which I would like to map my domain. The problem is, that when I try, it tells me that the domain is already mapped to a different blog(the deleted one).

  We’ll need to move it for you, but for security purposes, we’ll need to receive the request from the user who purchased the original domain mapping upgrade for rel8consulting.com.

  You’ll need to either post on the forum as the user who purchased the domain mapping, or contact us via support@wordpress.com from the email address on that account.

  Alternatively, if your have the transaction ID from the receipt, we can accept that via support@wordpress.com too.
