  I need to speak with someone about gaining admin access to my site. My web designer has changed the password; therefore, I no longer have access to my account. Who can assist me with this? I pay for WordPress via him, and he will not release the password/admin back to me. He has no legal right to the content or site hosting since I pay him for the service. He has taken all three sites.

  Hi @aliciastraughter sorry you’re going through this. Since you’re paying for the site, you’ll need to contact WordPress.com Support directly and request admin access back: https://wordpress.com/help/contact.

  Have your payment receipts, billing emails, or domain registration details ready these will help prove ownership so support can restore your access.

  If your site is actually self-hosted, contact your hosting company with the same proof to get control back.

  You can check with the hosting provider; they can reset the password.
