Urgent! Lost all account info, need to delete site

I’m kind of in a panic here.

I helped someone set up this site years ago, but put in some temporary text that is actually a problem, as it implies a political agenda that it shouldn’t. He has now released a book under this title, but this wordpress site is what’s showing up in search results. I can’t find the account info we used to set up the site in any of my usual places. I’m going through every email address and username I can think of, but it’s not coming to me, and none of the reset requests are reaching me or the person I set this up for.
The person I set this up for is the person mentioned in the blog, and its very important that the site be taken down asap. I’m really desperate to get this taken care, hopefully before 7 PM tonight. There’s a big interview that’s airing, and people searching for the book may find this crappily written blog post instead.
I’ve emailed support, but that might take until tomorrow. Is there anything else I can try in the meantime?

You will need to contact staff directly at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ . Search for anything on that page, scroll down, click “no” and the contact form will appear.

Thanks. I’ve sent a couple of messages this morning, and am waiting to hear back. But I’m racking my brain trying to figure out how else I can try to figure out which username or email address I might have used. If I can find one piece of information, that might jog my memory, and I can take care of this myself. I have a very angry person concerned about this, and I need to try and fix this asap.

Okay, so is there any page on a site by default that might not be in the navigation that might still be active and have a clue to the email address used? Like a “Contact Us” page?

There is no public viewable page that has contact info – however – you set the comments to “moderate” so I posted a comment so check all your email accounts and see if you have notification of a comment – that would be the email for the account. beyond that the Staff are the only ones that can help you.

Yeah, I posted a comment too, I was hoping I’d set up an email address to forward to either me or this person, but I haven’t seen it.
